I am pro-life myself, but I don't think this video's argument helps our cause at all.
Any "pro-choicer" could easily debunk it by saying that life offers as much potential to do evil as good, and pointing to Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and other rapists and murderers who never would have caused the decimation they caused had they never been born.
The corollary of this presentation--that the world would not be better off had certain individuals--like Hitler, Stalin, and Mao--never been born--doesn't hold true.
Wouldn't it be more effective to argue that there is such a thing as an "unborn child," which really is a human being, and therefore that abortion is--at least in some sense--akin to murder? To elaborate on this theme would avoid the ad's fallacy.
And sure, NBC shouldn't have rejected any ad, so long as its purveyors were willing to pay the market price for the ad space!
