- I might Have Been Wrong About NJ's New Governor

I'm married... so I'm quite accustomed to admitting I was wrong about something. I'm not ready to go quite that far on Chris Christie just yet, but I have to admit, this is a more daring and more admirable move on his part than I ever expected.

N.J. Gov. Chris Christie issues order curbing political donations by unions

I've long argued that assasination is a tool fo the left not the right. I think (and hope) the governor has some awesome security because he's making all the right enemies.

He has more to do. His Executive order #1 didn't suspend the prevailing wage requirements for anyone using BPU funds (signed into law Jan 14th).

This puts a small contractor like me pretty much out of business. I participate in the NJ Home Performance program and will have to pay wages while the big utilities, performing the same work, are exempt.

Wonder why your electric bill is so high? That's where the money comes from that pays for these programs.
