More like just plain 'blind'. Although I will say it is of course unfortunate that those ~265 Obama voters will be losing their jobs.

Union salaries at the Remington facility in Ilion are not that great. There were a lot of givebacks in the last decade. The company will save quite a bit by expanding their NY workforce under the current rules.
