That is awesome. My parents live in Spring Lake, and I managed to get our just in the nick of time. They sent me this picture yesterday:

My whole neighborhood has a similar look.
We have a King Charles Spaniel - a beautiful dog with an unbelievably sweet disposition, but who also has that fearlessness that all spaniels are well known for, in spite of her smallish size. I've seen her chase grown deer at full speed (with every intention of catching them) just because she likes the smell.
But since she only stands about 12 inches at the shoulder, she doesn't know what to make of this. If she tried to go off the area we've carved out for her she would literally disappear. And it doesn't seem to be melting much.
