- America, I Apologize

NJ Senator Frank Lautenberg (an artist's rendering depicted above) is doing his best to make the rest of America more like NJ. He and Senator (mini-me) Menendez have introduced a bill that will not only punish law abiding citizens who are firearm owners, but will also allow their constitutional rights to be restricted without due process.

It's the same old tired left wing thinking that has put NJ at the forefront of the 1970's. America thankfully won't be fooled by this nonsense, but he introduced it anyway to make a statement. So on behalf of the people who continued to elect his increasingly calcified but still "funky" behind to the Senate, I'd like to make another statement and formally apologize for this implicit insult to the intelligence of all Americans. I know you're not stupid enough to fall for it. And I apologize for allowing Senator Lautenberg to make the fact that he feels otherwise known so publicly.

When you think of Frank Lautenberg moldering along in the Sentate, we in NJ hope that you will also remember that we are the home of future president Chris Christie.

Frank Lautenberg = The Living Fossil of the Senate.

Only in NJ can a man like this be dragged out of his crypt, dusted off, and put in as a substitute for the current candidate (who so disgraced himself he was going to lose.. you have to be really bad for that to happen in this State). All in violation of very clearly worded election laws.

On NRO, there is a clip of Chris Matthews talking about an upcoming presidential speech about Gun control. On top of that, Matthews brags about the "progressive spin on current economic direction" from the president, which shows that they are just calling stimulus spending with a new name - investment.
