- More Inanities From The Cult of Democracy
These imbecile kids obviously feel that Democracy is morally superior to other forms of decision making. Why else would they go to such trouble, and allow themselves to be portrayed so foolishly? But there are lots of other ways to make decisions that result in both greater efficiency, and a higher likelihood that everyone gets what they want.

That's a great book, but maybe Twinkles should start with something a little lighter. I'm thinking PJ O'Rourke's Parliament of Whores: "Imagine if all of life were determined by majority rule. Every meal would be a pizza. Every pair of pants, even those in a Brooks Brothers suit, would be stone-washed denim. Celebrity diet and exercise books would be the only thing on the shelves at the library. And - since women are a majority of the population- we'd all be married to Mel Gibson." A bit dated, I suppose.
