- The Real 99%

Another brilliant Michael Ramirez cartoon... telling you things you already really knew, for more than 2 decades.

Where can I go to protest that I am not in the 1%, but want to be?

Man I love this blog. Thought about RFNJ and its author today when I watched the late news and the scenes of Zuccotti park getting cleaned out. Two poignant images: 1. The sanitation workers pressure washing the filth off of the sidewalk. Just a complete metaphor for the cleansing of that mess. 2. One or two of the college aged, absolutely ignorant female "protesters" spouting feeble, vapid invective into the cameras as she was hauled off by the NYPD.
I am so glad I live in the mountains, 3000 miles from that mess.
Great cartoon too. Thanks Tom.
