- So Stupid, It Must Be A Spoof
This is the dumbest idea I've ever seen. If it's real, it was conceived on a Hollywood backlot for use exclusively on idiot shoot em up movies. I can't imagine an actual firearm use where I would say to myself "Gee this is nice, I just wish I had another barrel, twice the recoil, and twice the cost." or "If only that target had another hole in it about 3/4 of an inch to left of the hole I just put in it."
Seriously... I think it's a spoof. If it isn't, I'm shorting the company that built the stupid thing.

For some reason it reminds me of the gun carried by Stallone in the movie 'Judge Dress'
Judge Dredd
arrrg!
Inspired by the villains gun in The Green Hornet.
even funnier is the media's perception that since it has two barrels it is twice as deadly or as deadly as the dreaded double-barrel shotgun - I had to read the article on FR yesterday.
Speaking of double-barrels... has anyone ever robbed a 7-eleven with a bespoke Purdy or Holland & Holland?
haha
For those who don't know what a "bespoke Purdy or Holland & Holland" is, they are brands of English double barreled gun (they make both shotguns and large bore African hunting rifles) which are often custom built.
You can probably find a basic model on the used gun market for something north of 15K. Typical cost for a gun like that is somewhere between 50K and 75K, and the really nice ones will easily go for more than 100K. I saw one once on an auction site (I think it was Sotheby's) which was going for 250K.
for obvious reasons they've probably never been used in a crime.
just don't tell that to your local NJ legislator
Never underestimate the firearms market's ability to absorb anything..
