- As "Impartial" As The OJ Trial

George Zimmerman to be charged with some damned thing. They aren't sure what yet.

In a related story, community activist Eric Holder praised Attorney General Al Sharpton for his work within the black community.... no wait... that's right isn't it?

eric holder is a pos... of course so is his boss.. they have let this get so outa hand that that jus bringing him in for questioning marks him as potential deadman.if that happened it should be layed at odumwit and holders and sharptons feet.if it hadnt escalated to this---pushed on by the prez ---you could bring him and let the system work. maybe actual facts and truths could be found.its past that. as i have said before he is dead no matter what.either hes in the ground or a walking deadman.where is the rev sharpton on a??40% unemployment rate for black yutes????

Zimmerman's action of recent have been baffling to me. In particular , not talking to his lawyers whilst talking directly to the prosecutor.
He even started up a website without his attorney's knowledge.

Plus it appears he fled the state of FL.

There is abounty on his head. He's scared to death and not expecting a fair trial. I'd think seriously about bolting too if I were him. Even if he goes free he'll be in court the rest of his life.

Here's an interesting thought...

Suppose this whole thing begins to bubble up and over. Suppose as we are on our way up to the election the 'community organizers' in the form of the Black Panthers and Sharpton's crew decide that they can't restrain their people any longer and it erupts into violence.

I defer to better minds on the scheduling, but I don't think the actual trial will happen before the election. But suppose the jury selection doesn't go quite the way the 'activists' would like. Suppose all the white and latin faces on the jury are taken as evidence of the "obvious racism" of the system. And Obama and Holder have to cope with a race riot on live TV.

How does that reflect on Obama's reelection bid I wonder. You may think those Trayvon Martin protesters are the salt of the eath - event the Black Panther scum, but they will not stand by and let a jury be picked that will find George Zimmerman innocent.

As their like mind brethren in the Klan used to say back in the 50's, what's the point of a trial if you can't have a lynching afterward?

I never thought the officers in the Amadou Diallo shoot were going to be exonerated. A change of venue can make all the difference.

Zimmerman is not helping himself right now but in the end of the day, if he can get a fair trial and articulate reasonably that he felt his life was in danger there is a good chance he will escape criminal prosecution.

The loud mouths are getting all the press and they are of The Left but I think there is still a silent majority out here that is thinking... Shut the f%*$ up already. I certainly am.

The rural west is so different. All guns and pick up trucks and STFU sentiment.

Like minded folks and I are prepping and I'm saving a place for the RFNJ readership.

Peace.

Tom:

Via some other blog sites I have been trying to gauge the 'mood' in FL, added to what I can pick up from my relatives (my brother and parents live there).

From what I have gathered so far:

The white, lower middle-class population (the ones who are more likely to live in racially mixed neighborhoods) have been stocking up on ammo. I have heard (but not confirmed) that there has been an uptick in CCW applications. The general mood is if they are threatened, they are going to shoot back this time. With the right of self defense (Stand your Ground, Castle Doctrine) firmly ensconced in the law of Florida, I doubt there will be much hesitation to use deadly force.

I haven't gotten much of a clue what the mood is in the Hispanic community. It's so damn fractured (Cuban don't like the Mexicans much, etc.) that it is hard to get a read on them. With the MSM pushing Zimmerman as "white" for so long, is he even recognized now as a Hispanic?

I think the ghetto blacks will riot regardless of whatever the outcome of the trial is. Unlike previous riots, a lot of them are going to get seriously wounded or killed.

What happens next nationally is not something I enjoy pondering.

Back when the Rodney King verdict came down, a gang of blacks went to the PATH station, attacking non-blacks. Some poor people were pulled right out of their cars and beaten. This is the same PATH station that my wife and I use (note: the neighborhood is majority Asian and Hispanic).

I know this happened because I was standing next to a cop, listening to the reports coming in over the radio. Plus my lab partner got caught in the middle of it (she was thankfully unharmed).

The whole incident never made the papers or the nightly news. Except for the victims, the whole incident was swept under the rug. Later I found out similar incidents happened in a lot of other states as well.

So many states allow CCW now and with the advent of cell phone cameras, Youtube, Liveleak, etc... Joe Average is a lot more aware of what threats could befall him. I suspect many will be prepared for it.

If there is a full blown "kill whitey and loot" riot, I don't think it will go down like it has in the past.

Florida alone as over 900k CCW permit holders:

I hope (but don't expect) an ending like what happened in Pasadena TX a few years ago:

Race merchants arrive to cause trouble for man who defended his neighbor's home with deadly force.

Race merchants become overwhelmed by a mass of counter-protesters. Race merchants decide to get out of Dodge ASAP.

There will not be a trial before the election. Charges have not been filed yet - not enough time. A trial is the last thing the Obama campaign wants. They like the story just as it is. A trial will change the dialog becaus it will change the facts. Sometimes the truth hurts.

Ok, maybe there are charges - picky, picky, picky
