Ok you win.Time for that weekend course for conceal and carry.I think its Hell that says he is waiting for the day when the attackers actually are ducking bullets and see how brave they are then.I know its Britain but until there are instant repercussions it wont stop. I am sure in the old days a few people "swung" on the end of a rope who were innocent of horse theiving but you gotta do something to make em think there is a downside.Its sorta like what Tom said bout the "wolves" getin a piece of jaime dimons ass..Its called risk for a reason and it can have a downside.
Tom had an excellent overview of handgun choice that bears another read. Keep in mind, your weapon is only good when you actually carry. Doesn't do a damn bit of good if it's in your car. Make your choice of weapon, practice frequently. You never know when you might need it. As for me, I'd choose to go down swinging.
