OK - foreign tourists couldn't carry anyway. But how did the guy with the knife know they weren't American? He might not have been sure where they were from, but since NJ has barely issued any concealed carry permits to a private citizens in the last 25 years, he could be certain that they weren't going to be armed.

Sad..I know that there is bad and evil in Canada and if you multiply their 33 mil people times 10 that maybe there would be lots more evil and bad.But they dont.they are 33 million people and seem to be mostly good natured.i went skiing a decade ago in Banfffff(corporal agarn pronuonced it that way in F troop) and they were the most likeable people i had ever met. One dude had a wheat farm of bout 30k acres. He had his own cessna and flew into to ski for the weekend.This is just another black eye for the US. If this had been a pitbull attack the dog would have been put down.I am a strange duck but I would be more than happy to put this "animal"down.A human being doesnt do this and thus you are of no use in "my " society.When you see the phrase---the more people i meet the more i love my dog..Folks that is ME.
