It's an outlier and might not even be that helpful to Romney (I hadn't really thought about it).

I like Rand Paul. IMO, he is the only one in the Senate that put through serious budget cutting proposal ($500bil worth).
This will never happen.
Romney is a chalk player. He will pick a VP who will help him the most in swing states. I think his eye is on PA. Obama can't win, if he loses in PA. So that would be a knockout blow.
So you can bet the Romney campaign is doing alot of internal polls right now, especially after Christie was floated as the VP.
If Romney picks a VP that targets PA, look for an election blowout for Romney.
