In NJ this man might be in a lot of trouble, but no jury anywhere in the state of Texas will convict him of anything. (The prosecutor might even be in trouble if he's charged with something).

If I'm on his NJ jury he walks. Hell I'd be pissed he killed that bastard too quickly.
I'd never make it onto the jury. I'd be asking why the prosecutor and the arresting officer aren't being suspended for being stupid.

In one of the old Westerns a man killed a man who was assaulting a woman. He said" Any man who hurts a woman is asking to be sent to Hell. I was merely speeding up the process." I agree. Certainly a 4 yr old!!??
I don't know what all the hype is about on the news. Seriously, we are talking about a 4 yr old...the father catches the man in the act, I don't know what parent in their right mind wouldn't have reacted in the same way. Even if you don't have the intent of killing the person, things can get out of hand...for pete sake, he caught the man harming his little girl, what else do they expect?
