In person John Derbyshire is nothing like the vitriolic monster that the racial grievance left has painted him as. He's a soft spoken, well mannered gentle soul with a ready smile and kind manner. He's a little cerebral... dare I say ... geeky, but who the hell am I to throw stones.
Anyway, an ongoing debate he and I have had for some time now has been his frequent suggestion to America's youth to:
Get A Government Job
For a few years I've disagreed with this suggestion.
While I saw the same disparities in compensation, security and lack of accountability that he did when comparing a government job to much more demanding work in the private sector, I didn't see it continuing. In short I thought John was telling America's youth to 'buy the top'. And by the time they bought their way into their soul-sucking position in the racial compliance office of the department of regulatory compliance monitoring, the cake would allready be eaten.
I think I called the top pretty well.
In fairness, a recent RadioDerb piece did mention that he was walking back his suggestion to America's youth. No... not that one - just the bit about government work. He's an empiricist after all, and is only interested in hard data. As soon as the facts and evidence support a change of view, I've never known him to be too reticent.

12% of workforce is union..They have made themselves an after thought. I hope this continues.
This country has bought into that every teacher,fireman , and policeman is a "hero".They are not. they get paid to do a job..That simple.But they have been able to protect their pensions etc by hiding behind that hero shit and I am fed up with it.
53% OF 25 YR OLDS WITH A DEGREE are unemployed or underemployed and yet they will vote this pos back for fomo?? To me that explains why they cant get a job.
