- Where To Hear About Obama

Since our domestic news services are completely in the tank for Obama, it's impossible to get them to tell us anything of substance about him or his campaign. They simply can't be relied on. Since that's so, over the last three years I've gotten in the habit of reading the British newspapers about our dear leader.

This business where Obama insulted America's entrepreneurs by saying that the government was the people REALLY responsible for their success wasn't reported on anywhere that I could find at CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, Reuters, the UPI, The NYTimes, or the Washington Post. It might be there someplace for credibility purposes, but if so they probably buried it.

Besides, they probably felt something like that wasn't nearly as big a deal as the potential that that well known scofflaw Mitt Romney might have 'walked on the grass' once in college when there were signs posted clearly telling him not to. I'm sure the Boston Federal DA is pondering criminal charges still.

But the Daily Mail has reported on it, and has reported the response of the National Federation of Independent Business besides.

From my perspective as a flavor of entrepreneur, it feels to me like Obama and the government have us all surrounded. They are moving in for the kill with taxes on one hand and regulation on the other. And when that doesn't work, the Justice Department just sues you or works up some trumped up criminal complaint about discrimination or the environment. They're already sure we've broken some regulation someplace, it's just a matter of finding the right thing to charge us with to get us back in line with their agenda.

So I think it's fitting that the NFIB can be more or less paraphrased as giving Obama's claim a response similar to the one originally offered to the Germans by Brig. Gen. Anthony McAuliff when they had him and his Division surrounded at Bastogne. In a word... NUTS!

Gallup's annual update on confidence in U.S. institutions, conducted June 7-10 (Before NFIB v Sebelius) showed confidence in US television news at a new low by one percentage point, with only 21% of adults expressing a great deal or quite a lot of confidence. Year over year moderates are down 10 percentage points to 20% and the 18 to 29 demo is down from 34% to 28%.

But the tragic thing about those number is that it's because 22 year old's all think that Fox News only tells lies ("Man").

Liberalism always fails because it's predicated on a fantasy that can't withstand the test of time. But people can be annoyingly determined not to learn things or face reality. The 60's liberals were that way. Fail and fail and fail again and they never learn.

By letting them take over the schools, I'm afraid we may have allowed then to craft yet another generation too insecure to ever face reality.

This is depressing:

MSM working overtime for their man-crush and near term results look good. How 41% think biz background is a negative given the current occupant at 1600 boggles the mind.

Mitt mention of Fast & Furious on Fox & Friends this morning has been spiked by all the major media - a setup for calling the story of interest only to right wing extremists once Issa and Grassley lay out the unanswered questions gambit.
