- The 'Fading Poster' Ad

My brother has a keen eye for political jargon and he totally latched onto the "fading poster of Obama" that Paul Ryan mentioned the other day. Now it's an Ad.

Al Gore: Electoral College System Should Be Replaced By Popular Vote

Gore and former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer (D) proceeded to bring up a proposal, floated by a California professor, that would change the electoral vote allocation and partially tie it to congressional district outcomes.

For all the bitching Rachel wants to cluck bout like some freakin old hen these words wouldnt and couldnt come out BHO's mouth without someone wanting laugh or fear hes having a stroke..These words are the words your parents spoke

You, we — we own this country. We — we own it. It is not you owning it, and not politicians owning it. Politicians are employees of ours. And — so — they are just going to come around and beg for votes every few years. It is the same old deal. But I just think it is important that you realize , that you’re the best in the world. Whether you are a Democrat or Republican or whether you’re libertarian or whatever, you are the best. And we should not ever forget that. And when somebody does not do the job, we got to let them go.

Did The Romney Campaign Read Rules for Radicals?

Did the Romney campaign read Rules for Radicals and apply them to the RNC Convention? Lost in the discussion of the Clint Eastwood evisceration of the Empty Chair character of Barack Obama was maybe the most obvious explanation for why the Romney campaign allowed this presentation: RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions. Have the conservatives finally found the backbone to learn something from their liberal brethren?

DETROIT - carjack attempt shoots back A Detroit woman targeted by would-be carjackers surprised them by shooting back at them. Alaina, who asked only to be identified by her first name, said she walked out of a store at Plymouth Road and Myers Road earlier this month and was confronted by two men. One of them started shooting in an attempt to rob Alaina and steal her sport utility vehicle. Alaina was shot and wounded. Her vehicle was hit several times, but she has a concealed pistol permit and she returned fire.
