- Dear CNBC...

As an economically literate American I want to formally request that you have Richard Trumpka on every single day as a representative of the Democrat's machine.

Nothing can do more to assure a Romney win, and your producers still get to claim you did the 'liberal' thing by giving him so much air time.

%%%%%%%%%%%%UPDATE%%%%%%%%%%%%

PS, if you could also have the guys from Occupy Charlotte on every day, I think it's the least you can do. These guys really do need to get their message out to every voting age American.

On a different topic:

It looks like the Spanish ship of state is taking on water even faster now. CNBC via Drudge:

In July, Spaniards withdrew a record 75 billion euros, or $94 billion, from their banks — an amount equal to 7 percent of the country’s overall economic output — as doubts grew about the durability of Spain’s financial system.

The withdrawals accelerated a trend that began in the middle of last year, and came despite a European commitment to pump up to 100 billion euros into the Spanish banking system. Analysts will be watching to see whether the August data, when available, shows an even faster rate of capital flight.

7% of your GDP being made liquid and leaving is not insignificant. Looks like Western Europe is at the cusp of Socialism's end game.

The worst possible thing team Obama can do is put the president on TV without his teleprompter. The second worst thing is put him on TV with his teleprompter (his ratings go down every time he's on TV, TOTUS or no). And the third worst, is to have Richard Trumka on instead.

Let's hope they disagree.

Hell. I wonder if alot of that found its way into our bonds lately. Was sort of a vicious move back down fro, 1.8 last week.So wonderful to be the ?safe? haven for the world.
Tom somewhere in the back of my mind I see Valerie Jarret with blackmail over BHO from their days in Chicago and the housing crap. She is hiding in NC after the NY times article.I look at her and think that little marxisthas to have something on him or the mooch.

Is Trumka getting an evening speaking spot?. The DNC has already tossed the B of A stadium and now is shrinking down the convention floor.

Tom,

I keep meeting people (a number of them work with my wife.. fashion industry.. leftist bent) that would find Trumka illuminating. They also find Paul Krugman to be almost god-like.

I think if they ever managed to listen to Milton Freedman, or read something by Hayek, or Thomas Sowell, their heads would explode.

Just got a message from a friend that one of his daughters may have had enough of Rahm and Chicago.Too dangerous...Made me think of this song

Rahm buddy. You are over your head. Call Guiliani and he can take over

I have the Dem convention going on the TV in the background. Other than Harry Reid, its basically 'Harpies on Parade' right now.

Angry women/victims screaming for their gimmies from the government.

All emotion..

Trumka was qualifying remarks by Hoffa to Maria Badaroma. There must be a German sociological word for that ...

I give Maria credit for trying to stick to what normal people call common sense.

Side bet...
Obama doesn't get poll bounce after the DNC, instead he sinks and Trumka & Hoffa take over te campaign

Shrum? what a doofus!

"Keep the tax progressive!"

Translation: keep peole down.

ikaika said...

Bob Shrum: "It's Bush's Fault!"

Woody Johnson actually stuck to point: "It's not about how much taxes I pay, It's about getting people employed."

Shrum has a pair of stones calling the R&R campaign a protestr vote. When the incumbent is down 400 bps going into his own pep rally, that ain't a protest.

Ikaika..I also have o give maria a hi-five. She stood her ground pretty well.

I didnt see a moment last nite and wont any of it. But.....one point I would like to make

Theres all this bs hype that Bubba Clinton is going "rogue" and The media is eating it up along with alot of repubs.Hello?? doesnt this sound a little like our playbook a week ago??? "Mystery Guest " at the RNC? PLease watch to see who the "Mystery Guest is "? All this shit that Bubba wontshow the DNC his speech.Bullshit.
This is about getting people to tune in and watch for bubba to eat BHO alive. Its hype.Americans will tune in cause Clinton is their hero. Theyl remember his message and stay stunned and vote Clinton/BHO cause theyl have some freakin warm fuzzies from 20 yrs ago.Hell I wish the 10 yr was at 5% it aint.so dont get caught up in this "oh hes going rogue bs".

How does one narcisist do an 8th inning set-up for another narcisist?

I think its funny that Obama had to get Clinton to deliver the nomination.
Bubba is the show - he has always been the show. He's not the Set-up guy, He's the closer.
He was the last successful Democrat of the 20th century, and he will not be remembered for nominating a failure to a second term.

In true Bubba fashion, he will steal Hussein's thunder.
Hillary was smeared by Hussein and then sent all over the world to promote possibly one of the worst Foreign Policy agendas in history... She hates her boss.

What would be typical "Bubba" would be for Clinton to walk out on stage and suddenly have a massive coronary before delivering "The Speech".

Immediately - all attention drifts from Hussein and the media begins to regail us with how Clinton was the second coming ...
All talk of DNC out the window and immediately - A state funeral is prepared.

Obama Loses and the Press reports that it was "The Year that America Lost Bubba".

With Hussein's luck - it could happen.

Ikaika.Exactly. This is etting down in your seats at MSG and realizing li-Frazier is the opening fight. After that the show is over for the night.

ikaika said...

I dunno - I have this image of Bubba doing a Fred Sanford ("It's the big one, Elizabeth!") on stage and every Dimocrat fawning and shrieking... with Obama standing off-stage wondering how to follow...

chess said...

But then you would need Howard Cosell calling it..Frazier goes down. Frazier goes down.
Bubba goes down!
