- There's A Story In There Somewhere...

Media Having Trouble Finding Right Angle On Obama's Double-Homicide

WASHINGTON—More than a week after President Barack Obama's cold-blooded killing of a local couple, members of the American news media admitted Tuesday that they were still trying to find the best angle for covering the gruesome crime.

"I know there's a story in there somewhere," said Newsweek editor Jon Meacham, referring to Obama's home invasion and execution-style slaying of Jeff and Sue Finowicz on Apr. 8. "Right now though, it's probably best to just sit back and wait for more information to come in. After all, the only thing we know for sure is that our president senselessly murdered two unsuspecting Americans without emotion or hesitation."

Added Meacham, "It's not so cut and dried."

In the meantime, I heard John Harwood from CNBC do his level best on Friday to portray the fact that Mitt Romney gave 1/3 of his income to charity, as a negative. Keep in mind, this isn't something Mitt did as a one off to get political capital for his generosity, it's something he's done every year for decades and was reluctant to take any credit for.

How in the world did we arrive at a moment when giving multiple millions of dollars to charity can be presented as a bad thing without the "journalist" being laughed out of his industry?

The Onion had it nailed in 2009... Im starting to think R&R just arent taking the hammer out out BHO's hands....Im hoping adding Gillespie to the thinking might help but they still are not connecting to women, students, and alot of middle class. I dont think Mitt will separate himself from BHO in debates and very few will watch Ryan and Biden.
If we dont get a perfect storm then its every man and woman for themselves.

Ikaika's Sultan just doesnt get to enough folks but here he tries.
The supposedly real press would say the Sultan is a farce. To me he nails it alot. Heres a piece

Joe Kiernan substituted for Kudlow Friday pm and was yapping with the little guy R.Reich.. Joe asked wouldnt it be great to have another million folks like Mitt annd giving to charity and celebrate success and Reich never could bring himself to say yes. All he could do was keep trying to say Mitt only paid 14% Tax rate...2+2=4..They will never admit that 2+2+2+2=8 that leaves them open to actually have their ideas shot down.
Im hoping.Im hoping..A guy on there Thursday pm said R&R need to skip the whorewoods of the world and buy 5 min national spots...I say a prayer everynight for it.

Let the experts worry about the return on the ad dollar chess. I'd rather see a win in Ohio and PA than a bunch of national ads.

BTW, our long lost co-editor Frithguild and I went to the Valley Forge gun show together yesterday. He is well but consumed with his new job and a few other distracting details, and a computer that has decided to give up the ghost. He's made a decision on a new one though, so expect to hear from him again in another few weeks.

We bought some 'Zombie" targets, I bought some 45acp ammo, and we had a good time checking the place out.

But while we were on our way back, a young guy with a pretty girlfriend in the passenger seat pulled up along side me on the highway and yelled over that he loved my bumper sticker which read "Obamanomics, Trickle Up Poverty."

He was too young to be a traditional republican. So there is reason for optimism in PA I think.

Good for Frith. I suspect if BHO pulls this out that Frith will have alot of material for us from all the exec orders thatl be flying around.
i saw a guy shooting zombie targets with a mossberg or maybe a 16 shell 12 g. Pretty funny.
i just picture that national airtime is harder for the press to pile on . This country is dumber than most of us think or realize.I think a 5 min tutorial is better than 30 seconds of bam. Gives a slower mind more time to reason through. Libs dont want anyone actually reasoning and saying Ryan is correct on medicare etc..Speaking of which....This is so scary to me I cant breathe
President Assures Letterman that National Debt Isn’t Important
Semi-News/Semi-Satire ^ | 22 Sep 2012 | John Semmens

Unable to answer a simple question regarding the size of the national debt during an interview on David Letterman’s talk show, President Obama tried to assure viewers that it isn’t important.

“I can’t put my finger on the precise amount,” Obama said. “How about a ‘ballpark’ estimate?” Letterman asked.

“Well, I don’t know, but it doesn’t really matter,” the President replied. “You see, mostly this is money we owe ourselves. I mean, Americans owe the debt and Americans own the debt. In effect, paying the debt is like taking money out of your right pocket and putting it into your left pocket. It’s a wash transaction. We could eliminate most of the debt by simply canceling this shuffle.”

If this isnt put in his face during a national debate ill cry..First hes lying that he didnt want to say 16 trillion. But the explanation should be hammered while looking him in the eye.. We are just borrowing from ourselves and can cancel it ????? It doesnt matter??????

US Prepares for Riots, Buys 1.2 Billion Bullets
Israel National News ^ | 9/19/2012 | Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu

U.S. Homeland Security is preparing for an all-out “American Spring” rebellion and has bought 1.2 billion bullets for counterterrorist snipers.

---------------------

“It is the type of ammunition and not necessarily the quantity that is troubling,” James Smith Prepper Podcast was quoted as saying.

“All of the sniper grade ammunition is being used by trained, or in-the-process-of-being-trained snipers,” wrote Smith. Adding up the number of lethal bullets tallies a potential 135,384 kills for the snipers, based on U.S. Army and Marine figures from the Vietnam War, when soldiers used 1.3 rounds of ammunition for each verified kill.
