The Invincible Pt. 3

So once again somebody in an 8x10 office somewhere in Washington DC let it be known that we had a Predator drone cutting real time feed through the fog of war.

At the start of the attack, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Martin Dempsey and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta "looked at available options, and the ones we exercised had our military forces arrive in less than 24 hours, well ahead of timelines laid out in established policies."  I do not believe they were watching YouTube.

The timing of the release of this information is absolutely masterful. It came just a little bit too late for the Sunday news show talking heads to adjust their talking points. Now here we are day two in the three day news cycle. Time for the President to react. Funny, he has a debate with Mr. Romney schedule to do just that.

As I see it, if we had a Predator watching as our brothers, fathers, mothers and sisters were being murdered, an A-10 would have nipped this whole problem in the bud.

But think about this. You are in a consulate under attack by savages that believe in beheading and rape is the right way to treat an enemy. You know the good guys have a Predator in the air watching over you, so they are pretty close by.

Help never comes.

You find a way to make this happen," Berntsen says. "There isn't a plan for every single engagement. Sometimes you have to be able to make adjustments. They made zero adjustments in this. They stood and they watched and our people died."

We all have and do live in this environment . It might be a flash crash and adjustments in a portfolio when Google releases its earnings midday or a heart surgeon who cuts through the right ventricle while opening up the chest. You fu.. react and go into that "zone". You make it happen.

This also goes to Toms Alpha blog. Beta's set there frozen. They lose some people and its not optimal or its a fu.. bump in the road..Id love to see how many people in this administration actually have shot a gun...No need to answer I already know.
They stood and watched as our people died. That should be the Gibson chin music tonight"

The more it is examined, the more you realize that the failure occurred before the attack. This is beyond letting your guard down.
This is the culmination of a policy that accepts a few dead in penance for hurt feelings.

The Obama FoPo is "Hoping that if ytou give-in, they will go away" and that the US is eternally indictable.

How anyone of sober mind can look at this administration and say, "gee we really need four more years of this".

I appreciate the Warthog. We should have an airbase with a few of those stick n rudder monsters ready to grade some desert roads.
