The Iranian News Agency is having trouble telling the difference between satire and actual news:

Apparently unaware of the unwritten rules of both ethical journalism and satire, an Iranian news agency published an edited copy of a report from The Onion on Friday, without crediting the original or acknowledging that it was fiction.

The Onion responded by upping the satirical ante, referring to Fars as “our Iranian subsidiary,” in an update to the original article, and providing its readers with a link to a copy of the copied article.

They should really be more sophisticated. For instance, in this country we can all tell the difference between real news and satire. It's the difference between the 'news' and Team Obama press releases that confuses us.
