Sometimes we forget our history lessons. The Stamp Acts, which played with the money supply, were probably the biggest agitation to the Colonists. Some bureaucratic moron in London had a brilliant idea about how to increase the revenues for a powerful interest. The untended consequence totally undermined the ability to do business as it was done in the colonies. The protest was anonymous and disguised, which only called attention to its infamy the injustice that actuated it.
The Tea Party has not disappeared. I submit to you that many became so disappointed with "RINOs" that many left the Republican party. Look at how the ranks of the "independents" have grown. The "independent" vote, is not what the lecherous, bikini ogling, groupthink mainstream media perceives and portrays it to be. "Independents do not occupy the middle alone. Independents surround the Republican Party.
In order to prevent the left from attacking a known target, the Tea Party, like Mr. E.R. Bradshaw, has learned to to stand up. That does not mean their vote will not be counted.
